A useful image tool should respect the image.
CompressMint is an independent browser-based image toolkit built around three principles: finish the job quickly, explain the trade-offs honestly, and keep the source file on the user's device.
Local by design
Images are decoded and re-encoded by your browser using Canvas, WebAssembly, and open-source codecs. The website does not receive, store, inspect, or train on your images. When the page is refreshed, the temporary working session disappears.
Free now, sustainable later
The core tools are free and supported by clearly labeled advertising. A future optional Pro plan may offer convenience features such as saved presets and an ad-free experience; basic private compression will remain useful without an account.
