Why this preset works
Photos can contain location, device, date, and editing information. CompressMint creates a fresh pixel-based output without copying those metadata blocks.
Your images never visit our server.
Compression happens in this browser tab. There is no upload queue, cloud copy, image history, or account required.
Questions about metadata remover
Which metadata is removed?+
Re-encoding removes common EXIF, IPTC, XMP, GPS, device, and editing metadata because only rendered pixels are written to the new file.
Does this alter image pixels?+
A high-quality re-encode may make tiny encoding changes. PNG output can be used when lossless pixels are important.
Is private metadata sent anywhere?+
Yes. CompressMint processes images locally in your browser. Your photos are not uploaded to our servers, and refreshing the page clears the working session.
